I come from a very competitive family. Most of my Saturday nights as a child were sat around the dinning room table arguing over Monopoly. If you had spent your pink $500 notes, you’d be met with a chorus of ‘Bankrupt, bankrupt, bankrupt’. Quite brutal for a 10 year old don’t you think?
These days I’m more of a fan of outdoor garden games. Swing ball, football, bat and ball, Scatch…so much more fun than sitting around a Monopoly board arguing over Park Lane’s rental fees.
